Methodology

Covering 190+ countries worldwide, the index Denominator^Country measures countries social and diversity performance. With 70+ data indicators on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion across social, political, and economic factors on gender, race/ethnicity, age, sexuality, education, health, disability and much more, the index offers the most comprehensive evaluation of social and diversity performance.As an example, the on the gender dimension, the economic factor considers indicators such as gender pay gap, access to financial resources, and women's economic empowerment. Whereas the political factor looks at gender representation in political decision-making, policies promoting gender equality in political participation.The first component is the country score considering social, political and economic factors. The second component is a company score based on the average DEI performance of companies in the country.Denominator^Country goes from 0-100 with 100 being the highest score possible. Indicators are weighted in the model and final score.
